✦ Sterling Silver (925)

Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper. This blend improves strength and durability while maintaining silver’s natural shine.

Our sterling silver pieces are carefully crafted using traditional silversmithing techniques and are always stamped with 925 to ensure authenticity.

✦ Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver

To enhance shine and protect against tarnish, some of our sterling silver jewelry is coated with rhodium, a rare and lustrous metal from the platinum family. Rhodium plating gives your jewelry a brilliant, platinum-like finish and adds excellent tarnish resistance.

✦ Gold Filled (14K & 18K)

Gold filled jewelry features a thick layer of real 14K or 18K gold mechanically bonded to a base metal (usually brass or sterling silver). By weight, at least 5% of the piece is real gold — significantly more than plating.

  • Safe for sensitive skin

  • Offers a luxurious look at a more accessible price than solid gold

  • Suitable for daily wear

This is a U.S. standard often labeled as “14K GF” or “18K GF”.

Gold plated pieces are made by electroplating a thin layer of real 14K or 18K gold onto a base metal such as brass or sterling silver.

  • Beautiful and affordable

  • Best for occasional wear

  • The gold layer is thin (a few microns), so extra care is needed

  • May fade over time with frequent exposure to water, sweat, or chemicals
